I just read some alarming statistics the other day. 124 people die every day due to an opiate overdose. Quoting New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, “that’s like September 11th every 3 weeks.” I have also read that 22 of our beloved veteran’s commit suicide every day.
Let these numbers soak in for a moment. I know, it’s staggering. These are real people. They could be your sister, your brother, your friend, your mom, the neighbor next door. It just might be you. And they aren’t just numbers. These are real, breathing people. You are a real…breathing…person. And I believe you are deserving of so much more.
Ask yourself, are long-term pharmaceuticals the answer to what may be causing yours or your family member or friends’ suffering? Maybe you/they are in a place where all resources seem to be exhausted and you are looking for other answers. That’s why you are here right? To try something else. Something that makes a difference without the side effects. And wouldn’t it be something if it could solve the problem, and not just address the symptoms. Since most of us by now are very familiar with Cannabis and CBD oils, and the miracles that are happening to help people every day by its uses. I am here to again suggest, why not essential oils too.
Essential oils have been used for thousands of years for various health purposes. In ancient times they were used for anything from cleaning wounds to helping to birth babies. Fast forwarding to today, pure, therapeutic essential oils are being used clinically to address all kinds of issues. There are oils for mood to alleviating the daily suffering that the body may endure, and everything in-between. Over the years I have witnessed many clients with an abundance of inflammation in their body. I also know that the body being left in a state of inflammation for many years can be lethal. When medications are taken, especially over the course of time, the body may react with inflammation, the same as when you are injured and site of the injury is inflamed. There are essential oils that I have seen that help the body with both inflammations.
Our endocannabinoid system (neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors that run through the body) is so complex. And I am not claiming to be a scientist. Simply put, there are these cool CB1 and CB2 receptors all over our bodies that transmit messages. CB1 are primarily in the brain, while the CB2 receptors are found mostly in the white blood cells, spleen and your tonsils. Chronic inflammation to these critical areas “dull” these sensors. Taking the inflammation down in this area of your body is critical for the receptors to do what they need to do.
One of the oils that you have most likely heard a big buzz about in the news lately is Copaiba essential oil. Copaiba is thought to help with inflammation by addressing the CB2 receptors. CB2 activation is correlated with the concentration of BCP’s (beta-carophyllenes). Copaiba essential oil, extracted purely is about 55-60% BCP’s. CBD oil is around 28-35%. Because so many people are using either medications for stress or pain, and the medications are addictive and lethal, just like CBD oil is being utilized instead of or addition to, Copaiba could also be an amazing addition or alternative solution to what is ailing you. Oftentimes, even if you are currently using a high-quality cannabis oil, it still may be the BCP’s that are doing all the work by relieving the physical issues. You could try using Copaiba aromatically in a diffuser, or topically in the affected area, and possibly get even more relief. There is also no THC in Copaiba. Copaiba comes from a tree in the Amazon rainforest. Taking Copaiba won’t give you a failed or false positive drug test, and there is absolutely no euphoric feeling.
In my most recent personal observances, Copaiba is helping people to support the body during stressful or anxious feelings, and for discomfort from injury and inflammation. It appears to do this in a natural, more consistent way. Without any observances of side effects. I have also seen several clients who have had much success with the combination of Copaiba and CBD oils together. Copaiba is also thought to be great support for cardiovascular health.
I really think this is an amazing oil and I encourage you to do your research on an essential oil company who carries Copaiba essential oil in its purest form, as to get the most therapeutic values, and to also not be exposed to toxins during the extraction process. I also suggest that you change your diet (if you haven’t already) with a physician or dietician’s help. Diet and exercise play a huge part in decreasing inflammation and toxic load. Changing things up a bit can lead to healthier thoughts and healthier bodies.
